About our client:
We are currently looking for an Accountant specialized in reinsurance accounting.
Job description:
You will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Preparation of monthly and annual accounts (IAS / US GAAP)
- Reporting to the authorities (Lux GAAP)
- Budget preparation
- Bank administration and reconciliation
- Tax and VAT returns
- Accounts payable
- Liaison with counterparts (external auditors, ,,,)
Profile:
- Academic background in accountancy
- 3 years experience in insurance or re-insurance accounting
- Fluent in English and French, and ideally you speak German
- Flexible and eager to take initiative
- Knowledge of Great Plains software would be a plus
