Tasks and Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- General-ledger Accounting and related reconciliations in accordance with IFRS
- Corporate reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Treasury Accounting and related system reconciliations
- Inter-company accounting
- Month-end and year-end close
- Compliance with local and corporate accounting policies
- Liaison with auditors and preparation for audits
- Management of accounting projects, processes and technology
- Maintenance of accounting infrastructure and reference data
- Full Accounting Function for certain small entities domiciled in the location,
including preparation of financial statements and liaising with auditors.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Financial Accounting degree, preferably qualified chartered accountant
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Detailed knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP. Knowledge of Lux GAAP will be an
advantage.
- Strong people Management skills
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Very strong English (written and verbal). French will be an advantage.
- Good PC application knowledge necessary; MS Office
- Knowledge of MS office and Accounting Systems (preferably SUN)
- Experience in a multi-national and changing environment
- Comfortable with a changing environment
- Must be proactive, have a positive attitude and be a good team player
