The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading European Real Estate investment management firm as a Fund Controller where you will be responsible for ensuring the financial management of the fund. You will oversee the production of accounts and their approval by the subsidiaries of the Fund.
Manage cash funds and maximize the return to investor, manage the quarterly reporting to investors, Ensure compliance with legal and fiscal standards in each country where the funds are present and the consideration of legislative and regulatory developments. Provide Debt Management: bank covenants and reporting. Ensure that, in proceedings of the group, yields will be technically served for investors Coordinate Directions Funds, Investment, Accounting and Finance and Asset Management for all matters relating to the Funds.


The Responsibilities:

Cash Management

- Calculate and initiate fundraising to investors and bank runs and monitor their implementation
- Ensuring the recovery of cash to investors
- Manage the flow on the external debt and intra group
- To effectively manage the cash at all structures

External Funding

- Contribute to the negotiation and contract management of financing and refinancing
- Anticipate financial and legal constraints arising from the financing contracts

Production of Accounts

- Supervise the service providers for the accounting and validate the financial statements
- Organize the appointment of auditors and ensure the relationship with them (reviews accounts, ad hoc requests ...)
- Coordinate with the internal team for the production of consolidated accounts

Reporting
- Consolidate information from the Fund Manager, asset management and accounting providers to achieve regular reporting to the attention of all investors of the funds within the time prescribed by the Fund and documentation meet to all contractual obligations of the group.
- Answer questions from investors
- Ensure the financial part of the reporting

Social, Legal and Tax

- Implement the restructuring of the Fund and its subsidiaries in coordination with legal and tax advice (structuring acquisitions or divestitures, optimization of transactions, organizing and maintaining a flow optimal structure)
- Ensure compliance with tax and legal obligations in relation to the Legal Department, advice and / or local providers
- Prepare records and general meeting of the Investors Committee in relation to the Legal Department and / or advice and participate in meetings and committees in order to take the presentation of financial results
- Develop skills in corporate law and taxation both in Luxembourg and in the countries of intervention

Supporting role on transactions (acquisitions and disposals)

- Validate the Business Acquisition Plan prepared by the Director of Investment
- Set up the structure of acquisition, taking into account the financial constraints, legal and tax.

Assembling and organizing fund flows

- Establish business plan "marketing" of the Fund,
- Contribute to marketing to potential investors, Questions / Answers on the business plan and financial performance,
- Develop the structure of the Fund and manage the financial flows of companies owning real estate assets to funds and investors and the funds to owners corporations
- Ensure that structure in coordination with the legal team group and the external legal and tax advisors.


The Competencies

- 4-5 year’s minimum experience in the financial sector
- Good knowledge of real estate investment funds
- Strong accounting knowledge including financial modeling
- Interest in law and taxation
- Degree in Business school
- Rigorous and flexible
- Fluent English & ideally French
