The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to take responsibility for all legal aspects of a portfolio of clients within a growing, dynamic and innovative trust company. You also act as a main point of contact for clients, centralising information provided by the accounting and secretarial departments.
The Responsibilities
• Provide legal and administration services to client companies
• Liaise with and advise clients on daily administrative and management issues for their companies
• Statutory responsibilities including filing reports, accounts and any statutory notifications, maintenance of statutory books
• Advise clients on constitutional matters and liaison with external advisers where required
• Work closely with the team leaders, accountants and secretaries for the administration of the client portfolio
• Understand implications of work prepared, i.e. compliance and regulatory
The Competencies
• University education in corporate or fiscal law
• 2-5 years experience in a similar position in a trust company or a law firm
• Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Service minded and problem solver
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
• Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service
• Excellent Team player but also able to work independently
