The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a leading provider of financial and fund administration services in the private equity business.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of client companies and will manage all aspects of the accounting, reporting and administration of private equity structures.
● Preparation of financial statements, annual accounts and any other statutory (CSSF, BCL...) or client’s reporting
● Bookkeeping
● Management of drawdowns and distributions
● Co-ordination with external parties (tax advisors, custodian banks, legal advisors, auditors)
● Assistance in preparing tax and VAT returns
● Cash transactions
● Assistance in corporate and secretarial services (BOD, AGM, EGM)
● Monitoring compliance of the structures
● Assisting with the carrying out of strategic policy set down by the company
● Maintenance of high quality operating standards, procedures and quality controls
The Competencies
● University degree level in accounting / finance or equivalent
● Between 1 to 5 years in a similar position with hand-on experience in Soparfi/Fund accounting with a private equity organisation or service provider (accounting firm, central administration)
● Fluency in English
● Experience in Jersey or Guernsey is required
● Experience in tax returns for Soparfi is a plus
● Experience in consolidation or IFRS is a plus
● Ability to meet deadlines
● Commitment to excellence and attention to details
● Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with external / internal clients and colleagues
● Ability to work in a team, and autonomously to provide guidance and prioritization
