THE OPPORTUNITY

Regularly working with interesting international clients in close collaboration, this role will give you the opportunity to:

• Build your international exposure – thus grow your commerciality
• Provide ‘solution-based legal output’ which clients shall immediately appreciate – therefore provide substantive legal advisory services in a front-line capacity to a growing portfolio
• Gain experience in a range of key Luxembourg commercial matters – variety in your day by working on corporate, tax, restructuring, investment funds matters
• Work in a flexible environment built on trust, teamwork, and quality output for clients

THE ROLE

On a regular basis, you will be providing active advice on corporate and commercial transactions concerning:

• Tax matters for optimisation projects
• Setting up of and structuring of corporate vehicles
• Subsequent restructurings of international entities
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Investment funds advice to a wide range of clients

All of the matters will be acted on in a team environment where you have to take responsibility for your own part of the output, while there is also a focus on legal research to ensure you and your colleagues are up-to-date with the ever-changing legislative environment.

THE REQUIREMENTS

In return for my client providing a supportive, dynamic and interesting working environment, you – a qualified and bar registered Lawyer – shall have to be able to show them that you:

• Have the POTENTIAL to service their clients in a strong and commercial manner for the long-term future
• Have a positive, team orientated, and technically robust working method to fit quickly into their current team
• Can demonstrate practical legal experience in a Law Firm which could allow you to act confidently within wide-ranging transactions at a junior level
• Believe in providing high-quality and pragmatic legal advice to ALL clients at ALL times in order to fit with the development of this firm
• Have strong linguistic abilities (including professionally proven English) and an international academic background
