The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the Accounting and Reporting (Compliance) Department for a Private Bank who is opening the Office in Luxembourg.
If you have a significant experience in Accounting & Reporting and Compliance with a private bank in Luxembourg and if you are looking for a challenging role this is the perfect opportunity for you!
The Responsibilities
- You will produce financial statements in accordance with European GAAP and IFRS
- You will perform reconciliations and ensuring that the accounts meet the relevant regulations
- You will be in charge of the evolution and the implementation of the external reporting requirements (local authorities)
- You will ensure monthly reporting package for General Management and head office
- You will assist the General Management within the yearly budget process and its monitoring
- You will ensure close relations with internal / external audit, BCL, CSSF and tax authorities
The Competencies
- University degree in a relevant field (Bachelor in accounting, University Degree, BAC+3)
- A previous, large experience in a private bank as Senior or, ideally, Head of Accounting & Reporting (CSSF and BCL)
- A previous experience as Compliance Officer in Luxembourg (deep knowledge of MiFID Regulation)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, Finrep and Corep.
- Fluent in French and English
