About our client

For intenational law firms based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for qualified lawyers specialised in Corporate, M&A or Investment Funds.

Job description

Within the Corporate - M&A practices : the key areas of work you would expect to get involved in are: Private M&A, Private equity, Public M&A, Equity offerings, Reorganisations/restructurings, and Corporate advisory.

Within each of these areas, key responsibilities will include preparing and sending documents to clients, assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiation of documents, managing the due diligence exercise and managing data room information. You will be expected to coordinate with foreign lawyers and you will have some involvement in transaction management for signing and completion of a deal.

Within the Investment Funds practice: your main activities will involve:

Advising in the structuring, setting-up, formation, regulation and fundraising process of regulated investment funds of all types: from PE Funds to Hedge Funds, RE Funds, etc...

Drafting of prospectus, agreements, distribution contracts, etc.. for a number of international private clients. Liaison with CSSF and Regulation authorities.

Who we are looking for

- Academic excellence : you possess a Law Degree (LL.M and/or MAS and/or J.D. degree or equivalent such as HEC - ESSEC - EDHEC - DJCE - Magistère ) and are an Attorney at court.

- You have at least two years of experience in a Law Firm

- You are enthusiastic to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment

- You possess excellent technical skills, client focus and commercial awareness.

- You are excellent in both written and spoken English and French ; German is also highly valued.

- You have a detailed understanding of the legal and commercial markets in Europe.
