Our client:

Our client is a major actor of the shipping industry, currently setting up its financial holding in Luxembourg. We are then looking for an accountant who will be in charge of the accounting and tax matters of the company

Job Description:

You will work in cooperation with the internal teams based in Italy and England, as well as the external auditors based in Luxemburg, but will be the only person in charge representing the company here in Luxembourg. You will report to the Finance Manager based in England.
You will focus on the accounting and tax matters:

- Cash flow management, with bank payments and collection
- All entries to accounts
- Reconciliation and solution of the accounting discrepancies with the maximum level of accuracy
- Luxemburgish tax matters handling, by liaising with the external auditors
- Corporate matters (in relation with the internal legal advisors)
- Preparation of the financial statements
- General secretarial matters
 

Your Profile:

- You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a holding company
- You have a very good knowledge of Lux Gaap and Lux Tax
- You are fluent in English and Italian
- You are able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
- You are autonomous and you like working in a small office
- You are flexible and open to travel to meet colleagues in Italy or England if necessary
- You are reliable and open-minded
