Our client, an international group providing services, is reinforcing its financial team based in Luxembourg. They are currently looking for an IFRS Senior Accountant, speaking one of the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.
Job description
> Management of a team of 5 accountants
> Month-end closing and reporting of the Nordic entities in accordance with IFRS
> Preparation of statutory accounts for Norway, Sweden & Denmark
> Preparation/co-ordination of monthly and annual VAT returns and fiscal declarations
> Liaising with auditors, lawyers, banks and other service providers
> Treasury management (forecasting, payments, reconciliation)
> Liaison and coordination with local subsidiaries' management and top management of the group
Who we are looking for
> At least 2-3 years post-graduate degree in accounting and finance.
> At least 5 years accounting experience in an IFRS accounting role
> Fluency in English and Swedish or Norwegian or Danish, spoken and written.
> Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
> Strong analytical and problem solving skills
> Communicative and hands-on
> Sensibility to Nordic legislation: Sweden, Norway & Denmark
> Ability to manage a team
